This beastly tale explores scenes of love and death, control and care, fascination and reverie that emerge from living with wolves on the borders of the Basque Country.
"Somewhat Wild" shows various sides of the Basque countryside. It presents a small scale sheep farm, a group of hunters with their dogs, and a researcher. It beautifully and subtly portrays multiple life aspects as interconnected, and presents entangled relations of human and non-human animals from a non-hierarchical perspective.
